Dr. Hutchinson is committed to improving identification and treatment of mood, anxiety, and other mental health disorders in the medical home and specialist office.  Investing in a thorough evaluation reduces the risk of misdiagnosis or time lost in treatments that don't most directly meet your needs. 

An extended consultation begins with a 90-minute session in which you begin to discuss your current concerns and your experiences in the past.  Records from your previous treatment are reviewed. Medications and other interventions are typically started and re-assessed during 2-3 follow up sessions.

A report of this assessment and recommendations for the next steps in your treatment is then shared with the prescribing provider and/or psychotherapist providing your ongoing care.
